How to Contact GM Media Archive
The GM Media Archive prides itself on its ability to meet customer deadlines. To help us do that, please follow the procedures below:
The GM Archive can fulfill images as well as video request. The GM Archive needs your request in writing via e-mail. Please include your contact information with phone number, deadline, preferred format and the specific research need, be as specific as possible. It is important that you tell us how the asset will be used and what the intended audience and/or distribution will be. This will assure that we release assets that have the full rights for your desired use, and also that the researchers will be able to more fully understand your needs. Once we receive your request, we will begin research and call you with any questions. You will then be given choices, as to what you want to receive.
For most media requests, we do not charge or ask for a signed copyright license agreement.
Commercial requests require a signed license agreement. In these cases, we require our simple two-page agreement signed (it may be faxed) before we can deliver the assets. The GM Media Archive can provide material in many professional formats with several delivery options.
Commercial request may also be charged the following:
Shipping: Quoted upon request
Duplication Fees: Quoted
Rush Fees: For 24 hour or less turn-around time (From time of receipt of request to time of delivery)
Licensing: Charges may also be incurred. This will be discussed with you at the time we issue the license agreement, and the cost will be decided on a case by case basis based on standard business practices.
Payment can be made by credit card (Visa or Mastercard). Other arrangements can be made. When your project is completed, you will be required to return the material to the GM Media Archive.
If you have further questions or need clarification, please give us a call. We look forward to working with you.
